I'll try to address some basic questions anyone might have.

Where is God?

God is all around us. I cannot believe that our existence is an accident, there is a purpose and reason for us to be here. I also read somewhere that this world has design and order and that does not happen without intervention.

Church ?

This word has at least two meanings, the building or those united in the same cause and beliefs often designated by folks saying "Be the Church."

Why so many denominations?

There are many reasons for this, I'll just comment on some. There are a variety of religious books and tomes that the denomination bases it's beliefs on. Another is that the Bible is an item that can be used and interpited in multiple ways. This is not said to take anything away from the Bible; many people spend their entire lives studying the Bible for understanding, and not all of them agree. Culture, history, human involvement also all factor in, in the creations of differing beliefs, religions and denominations.
